Back from a really nice visit with my sis and brother in law. There were many highlights but one of them that was so memorable was the double rainbow after it had rained and we took a drive to Lopez Lake outside of Arroyo Grande to see if the lake water level had gone up. The central coast did get much needed rain and hopefully will get more to ease the drought. All the hills are green again! I will post lots of photos from this area eventually.
For those who don't 'know- the central coast I'm talking about is in California. The areas I mostly visited while there were Pismo, Shell Beach, Arroyo Grande, Avila Beach, San Luis Obispo, Templeton, Atascadero, Paso Robles, Cambria and San Simeon and a few others that will come to mind probably after I post this.
I like this cute house and have photographed a few times.
The whole central coast up and down is this beautiful!!
Sunset at Pismo Beach.
Couldn't pass up a pic of this pretty flower.
A pelican I purchased at a local shop.
Scene near Cayucos.
My sister's least favorite bird - a vulture - the central coast skies are filled with vultures - I suppose waiting for all the retirees to pass (bad joke).
The vulture was waiting for these retirees to drop from exhaustion after a busy fun filled week.
These photos are from the Moonstone Walk in Cambria. (Love that town).
