FOGGY DINNER
Have you ever tried Costco Mac and Cheese. Mike put crumbled bacon in it and fixed it up. It was delicious! He also made a nice salad and garlic bread. I love when he cooks and I can sit around and just smell dinner being made.
It was foggy and damp all day and I am hoping snow comes in tonight and we wake up to at least a dusting of snow.
I noticed at dinner how pretty it was when I was looking outside at the fog and the lights were reflecting around the room.
The fog would roll in with a wave motion - it was beautiful.
I spent most of the day watching birds and photographing them from inside the house. I couldn't believe the number of birds that showed up - they knew it was going to be cold so they were eating extra.
I feel for people who are in the areas getting more snow and ice. I'm sure many wish spring comes early.
For me, I just want one or two more little snow storms and that will make me happy until next winter.

And it was a COLD night - the temps had dropped into the low 20's, ice fog was a happening and these two wanted ice cream.

A RECENT TRIP TO BEND, OREGON
We recently got back from Bend where we visited my son and his family. It was great seeing Mackenzie and Jake again, and fun to see how much they have grown in six months since we saw them last.
We expected clear weather in the 50's (as the weather report stated) for the week we were there, but instead was surprised by ice fog and light snow. It was cold, really cold, but beautiful. I've now visited there during three seasons, with the only one left to experience is "summer".
I did enjoy bundling up and walking around their neighborhood getting photos.
