Darn them - they let the cat out of the bag

But at least we got up there a couple days ago and it was beautiful - so many colors I got totally carried away taking photos.  Here are a few
up in Big Bear and actually from Crestline to Big Bear there was definitely lots of beautiful colors.

I particularly liked a local Garden Nursery House decor type of place up in Rim Forest near the Cottage where we stop and eat.  It looked beautiful when we drove by.

I have a lot more from the drive up the mountain but doubt I'll get them posted.  It's too beautiful lately to stay in and be on the computer.

AUTUMN COLORS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND JAKE'S PHOTOS

Most of these are taken either around where I live or a bit up the mountain in Blue Jay - still not as high an altitude as Big Bear which I hope to get to soon while  the colors are still on the trees and not on the ground.  Being at about 7000 feet Big Bear will have a lot more color going on.

Here are just a few from my area and I plan to get out every day to see more and more.    Is your area showing their colors yet?

I'll be posting fall colors every day until I run out of color and the snow comes.  (that is - when and if we get any - who know with the drought we are in what will happen).

and have to share my grandson Jake's first day of pre K - his official school pic - anybody who has been a blogger friend for years might remember i babysat him and Mac quite a bit when their mom worked - and we lived with them for a year after we sold the house - they then moved to Bend and we moved to the mountains.  I miss them so much.

However, i got to spend time with Holly and Holden - two more grandkids up in San Francisco this last week and i'll be posting pics on my blog later.
