I ADORE THIS LITTLE HOUSE

I saw it a few times on different walks when we would go over to LaVerne.   The beautiful landscaping around it - the plants in pots at the end of the sidewalk in front - ...it is so appealing to me.

I can't believe how many front porches I have photographed in the last basically 10 plus years of walking neighborhoods  in various little towns.  We would go out sometimes almost every day and I always had my camera with me.    It's like I've found a treasure chest and just recently opened it up to find my  front porch photos in there.  They aren't filed altogether but I have to open each dated folder to see if there is anything good in there.

My external drive that I am working from, goes back to 2005 and I've only opened up a few folders so far and have been surprised at what's in there.

Since we've moved to the mountains (approximately 3 1/2 years ago) - I don't see many front porches - mostly wood decks but I'll also include them.

Maybe I'll get down to this area again in the next few months to see if I can find this house again - I'm curious after about 5 years what it looks like now.

I'll definitely be walking in some of these areas come fall because these small towns are so beautiful with fall colors.

DAILY PORCH - THIS BEAUTIFUL PORCH WALKED BY BACK IN 2010

I was looking back in my files and 2010 is when we sold the house in Alta Loma - 2010 was when we watched our new grandson Jacob quite a bit and took he and his sister to the Village Park in Claremont about two times a week.  I forgot how many times I walked Jacob in his stroller through the neighborhoods while Grandpa watched Mackenzie and Cayden at the park.  I have quite a few front porches from that time.

Here is one I must have liked since I have 3 views of it.

So today -it is a blue porch.

Once more Mike has to be down the hill for Jury Duty - he was there all day yesterday and it is carrying over until today and then if he is chosen it will go longer.   Most of it was just sitting around waiting yesterday.
