Seeing as how I will be going back to the central coast (california) at the end of January - I thought I would post some photos from my visit last January. My sister and I on the way to her place in San Luis Obispo, stopped and walked through Santa Barbara. I had gone into the courthouse and was amazed at how beautiful it was. I read a comment by someone when doing a little research and she said that a worker there said that it was the most beautiful courthouse in the country. I was looking at these photos today and thought I would post a few over the next days. We recently returned from Thanksgiving holiday up in San Luis Obispo which was so nice. This room is referred to as the "Mural Room".

What a neat place! I have always been fascinated by Santa Barbara. It's a place that I've heard so much about. I'd love to visit some day.
You really got some nice pictures of the mural room! I hope you got some of the other areas in that building...on second thought, of course you did! And also from up at the top looking over the city...shows those too!
yes i have a lot Laura, lol - ...i'll post more tomorrow..thanks Martha - it has a great town to walk through - and then the coast is so close and I have yet to walk through some of the historical neighborhoods which my sis and i plan to do next time i go up.

Those murals are interesting and so colorful. It is a beautiful place.
