I saw it a few times on different walks when we would go over to LaVerne. The beautiful landscaping around it - the plants in pots at the end of the sidewalk in front - ...it is so appealing to me.
I can't believe how many front porches I have photographed in the last basically 10 plus years of walking neighborhoods in various little towns. We would go out sometimes almost every day and I always had my camera with me. It's like I've found a treasure chest and just recently opened it up to find my front porch photos in there. They aren't filed altogether but I have to open each dated folder to see if there is anything good in there.
My external drive that I am working from, goes back to 2005 and I've only opened up a few folders so far and have been surprised at what's in there.
Since we've moved to the mountains (approximately 3 1/2 years ago) - I don't see many front porches - mostly wood decks but I'll also include them.
Maybe I'll get down to this area again in the next few months to see if I can find this house again - I'm curious after about 5 years what it looks like now.
I'll definitely be walking in some of these areas come fall because these small towns are so beautiful with fall colors.

That is another pretty one. The various styles of houses there are so different from what we have here.
Like a little dream home. I could live there...I'm sure it would fit my style. HaHa. The banner is just wonderful.
I like this style a lot! I also like the smallness of it too. It's probably larger than I think. I can see it goes back quite a bit.
