It's a beautiful shot but I hate that there are fires there.
I would leave early in the morning and drive to Palm Springs (about 25 miles away) to check the progress of the fire (the one burning down the Indian canyons)...made a few new friends just from talking to people. Then, I'd stop at Jensen's and buy salads for lunch and then drive home. I am so glad the fire is now completely contained! We drive up to Idyllwild frequently to stay in a cabin up there.
