It snowed again about three days or so ago - and we've been taking the jeep out every day since then so I can take way too many photos. This is what most of our drives look like when he we go out.
My son and two grandkids (Holly and Holden) were here last weekend - and now another grandson and son came up last night and my grandson Hunt spent the night and will again tonight and then go home for Christmas. We'll meet his dad and the halfway point on Monday and hand him over.
Another grandson Cayden will be here a couple days after Christmas and we will watch him for a few days while parents work.
It's been busy but we still find time to go driving in the snow. I love it up here and every day there is something different to see, whether it's walking around the lake, walking around a different lake or just stopping in the little towns up here.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. Ours will be a quiet day with probably seeing a movie (Saving Mr. Banks) over in Blue Jay - about 10 minutes up the mountain. It's great having a nice theater so close. In Wrightwood we had to drive 30 plus minutes to go to a movie.
(This is the road we take to go over to Blue Jay - which we have actually done several days in the last week as we head over to Lake Arrowhead. We found a nice restaurant to sit and have a salad and appetizer and look out the window at a very cold Lake Arrowhead. We always get a window seat and it almost feels as if you are sitting in a restaurant at the marina over on the coast. We still have company coming in after Christmas, more in the first week or so of January. After that, maybe a trip to the coast will be in store for some warm weather and beautiful sunsets.
