When I post - I never go in order of when a photo is taken. My posting reflects my personality. Here and there and everywhere. My focus is only dependent on what I am looking at in a particular moment. I am not organized in the sense of, ...well anything.
I was looking through these photos today and even though I could start from the beginning of my vacation up the coast, I just post whatever suits me at the time. This series of "blue" caught my attention today.
I love Avila - there is Old Port Pier, and then The Barn, Bob Jones Trail, and the Avila Pier and many little stores to walk through.
I must have been taken with the colors on these buildings because I took three photos of it, and a photo of some gift items in "The Hula Hut", plus a dog looking at water.
Anyway, I guess the theme in this moment is "blue".
Today we go pick up another grandson "Hunter" for the weekend and before we take him home on Sunday, we plan on going to Laguna Beach first so Sunday is going to be a great day - with warm temps and beautiful ocean views. Having and watching grandkids gets us out a lot more than if we were on our own trying to come up with things off the mountain to do. Usually we think it's just too much trouble to drive down and get on the freeways out here and go anywhere (so cal freeways are at times AWFUL. Grandkids come in handy because we are then trying to think of things to do with them.
The bottom image was a quick photo (taken discreetly) of a greeting card in the Hula Hut.
Our "winter storm", (smirk) has all melted here and I think spring is definitely blooming and warmer weather coming. I wouldn't be surprised though, if we get a quirky snow storm again before summer. It's been known to happen.
Have a great weekend! Any plans you want to share?

I'm always taken by the colors on those buildings in Avila and I love that card image you took. We picked up H and Ashlyn from school and did things with them, fed them dinner, helped with their homework and then drove them home at sunset time so I could get some photos ... that was yesterday. We had rain this morning and in fact we were walking in the country club area and we were far away from the car shooting pics of the vineyards when it started to rain. Got soaked but had a great walk!
Enjoy those grandkids.
Loved all the shots of your 'blue theme'
Nice shot of your discreetly taken photo, nice card!
This weekend, I am taking it easy.
After a busy week with Rose, I need my relaxation time.
