Ever since I took this photo of MacKenzie down at the creek near downtown San Luis Obispo - I knew I had seen a photo of myself with the same hairstyle and a very similar look through the eyes (although her eyes are larger) and the shape of our face looked similar. It's kind of nice to find out a granddaughter does have a somewhat similar look to your own little girl face. Not saying it's identical but there is definitely a similarity. She was about 4 or 5 in this photo - and I was probably a little older more like 7 or 8.

I was so right!! I've always said she looks like you as a kid...but seeing the almost exact hair style blows my mind! Wow!
Remember that painting in the museum in SLO? We picked out you and me in it. The painting is still there and Ken and I were looking at it again and we were so amazed at how much those two in the painting looks like us...of course mine had her hands covering her eyes just like I used to do. ;)

I think I remember telling you along time ago she looked like you...even though I have never seen in person...ha. These photos prove it! Two beauties!
