I always like to take a ride back over to the mountains where we use to live before moving here. It's a much smaller town and a lot fewer houses and cabins. Thankfully in the last big fire we had up in the mountains, although Wrightwood was in the line of fire - it was saved. The drive getting to this area though was very sad - lots and lots of burned acreage in the high desert.

Fall in the mountains everywhere is so breathtakingly beautiful! This is one of them and I just put up some more from GVL and it reminded me of just how beautiful it was there!!
wish u could come up after it snows - when it is sunny and not stormy - it's so beautiful then.

Looks like a lovely area to explore. We have a lot of small towns within a short driving distance and it's always fun visiting them.
It's sad so much was lost to the fires. That is a beautiful house and such a pretty area.
seeing it all through YOUR eyes is almost as good as being there. I never tire of it!
