We were visiting down the mountain yesterday and when we came home this is what it looked like. Those rocks in the distance are called Mormon rocks and are part of the San Andreas Fault line. We get off at an exit right near there and then travel up the mountain. There was no snow but the fog and clouds were beautiful. This was about 4:30 in the evening.

Hi Annie - I love the route up the 15 to come home - the sky up here, even if not so dramatic as this is usually so pretty with high clouds. Since moving here - i really dislike the route going down the 15 into the IE. Usually I can't wait to get home.
Especially in the winter months, you are going to see many of these beautiful skies!! I used to drive up the 15 to the high desert for work and I would be in absolute AWE of the beauty! These pics are so good!!
