I was looking for a particular photo (didn't find it yet) and came across this one that I took several months ago at Montana de Oro while visiting with my sister. I love it and feel a desire to revisit this area soon.

Very moody feel and at the same time very beautiful! We just walked there this week and it was so pleasant.
Reminds me of a Turner painting. I love his moody paintings.
I love this and can hear the surf. I like to smell it too. When I was in Japan, I could sometimes smell the ocean and we were not that close to it.
As for Indians, I really admire them. I admire the Eastern Woodland Indians more than the Comanches of the Plains. They were really the best horsemen in the world but they were also extremely cruel by civilized standards and some of the things they did are hard to imagine but it was nothing to them.
Since I am stuck in old Shawnee and Miami country I like them more than the others. I have a small collection of Indian Arrowheads that I have collected from the local fields and a stone hammer and a large scraper made from slate.
