Right below our balcony was a place where the parrots are put out every day - they have a railing over the pond where they watch the fish swim by and seemed to enjoy their life - both the fish and the parrots. Or so I thought - and anyway, what's not to enjoy - they have a nice life with people stopping by to say hello to them, plenty of food and although I'm sure the fish would like to be in a bigger body of water and the parrots would like not to have their wings clipped so they could fly, they still have a nice area to hang out. Did I just hear a bird chirp that I'm delusional.
There are also a lot of tropical trees for the sparrows to hang out in. I felt like I was in paradise and rarely stopped clicking my camera.
After watching the birds I took out for a walk along the marina.
A lot of people live in the boats and seem to go out every mornng. I saw them a few times.
This lady below was also enjoying her morning.
Back to the city - I love the trees in bloom - they are all along the streets in the gas lamp area.
We plan on going back in the fall. San Diego isn't somewhere you want to be in summer as it is a popular tourist destination. Since we usually go to the central coast to visit my sister - i like seeing other beaches once in awhile but so far none are as pretty as the central and northern coasts although I've only been as far as San Francisco but have seen my sisters photos of northern California. Southern California beaches are just too crowded and full of traffic.
