Due to taking some of the photos I'm posting through a car window rolled up that has a bit of a tint to it - it makes the sky really blue. It was blue for sure - but not this blue.
Central coast has so many small towns and neighborhoods - they also are known for their "micro" climates - which means you can find varying weather depending on what town you are in and how close or far from the ocean it is.
Arroyo Grande is above Grover Beach which is a beach town. There are also many vineyards in these areas.
This house definitely caught my eye so I will use it for my front porch photo for the day.
One of the many fields of ...well I know we traveled by cabbage fields - not sure this is one..... while on our way through Arroyo Grande out to Lopez Lake.
There is a really small town named Oceano which is pretty darn cute.
and then there is the Halcyon Post Office - this is an area that is very rural but has the cutest place to go pick up your mail. Lots of Zen stuff to look at and it smells "divine" ..kin dof like the Catholic Church I went to as a kid, incens-y
I bought some incense that smelled good in the package but not in my house! Too much of a burn smell - ugh.
I put it in my dresser drawers and it smells great when I open them up.

I love that little post office. It looks like it would be such a fun place to poke around in and explore.
It's pretty cool and very rural. You got great photos of it and of the Oceano area too. Not sure if that is a cabbage field but some of them are probably root veggies and smell like earthy and dank.
That Victorian is a bed and breakfast now, I believe. It's located below the area where our Uncle Bob once lived on the hills behind it.
it reminds me of that line I like in 'baby boom.'
they're in a quaint little shoppe in vermont.
they pick something up and the wife says... "isn't this cute?"
and he replies... "the WHOLE STATE is cute!" LOLOL!!!
that's how I feel when you show these quaint and lovely places.

now I want to buy the workbook.
i'm thinking it is the continuation of enlightenment maybe from the urantia book... continued insight and awareness. don't know.

Tammy - hi ....I have the Urantia book but never read it - couldn't get into it but ACIM and some other authors related to the work - i love and have followed it since 1987. Hope you get the book - ...Tom Carpenter wrote a wonderful book ..gotta remember the name. By the way you can read ACIM - all three parts which include the workbook online. I'll email you links. Love your comment about Vermont...

Your very blue sky pic reminds me of a pair of sunglasses I used to have, they turned the sky such a beautiful color even when it was dreary.
Hi Dewena - ...better blue than amber - i had such that gave the world a look like a nuclear disaster had struck. Was so glad to get back to the more blue lens.
