Leaving soon for a walk while our weather is still nice - ...snow is coming by the weekend I think.
Horse in Santa Margarita and a few backyards. Santa Margarita is up the coast from San Luis Obispo about 20 minutes - beautiful area and a wonderful walk.
Pelicans at Old Port - Avila Beach area.
Arroyo Grande Roosters - who own the town and walk about freely.
My cute great niece Hannah with Strider who recently had quite a bout with renal disease and lost tons of weight - he is doing better though. Hannah's family (my niece Erin) has a beautiful little home with a great view out her back yard - I didn't post a pic but also has a peak of the ocean which I'm very envious of.

LOVE Roosters and Chickens---And those very sweet Pelicans. That Horse is soooo very Beautiful, and Strider is looking very good, considering he has been so ill---The Loving Hannah has helped bring him back with her love, I'm sure!!!
The first rooster/chicken photo ... I think that's the mayor of Arroyo Grande! Looks as if it owns the place. lol
Wow, your photos came out so good....love the one where off to the left of center that tree is lit up by the sun...they're all good!
Thanks Naomi! Strider is doing so good - he was very very ill and has made a good comeback - Hannah's love has definitely helped. Hope all is well . I bet the "Hills" are beautiful this time of year.
HAHA - the Mayor - I love it! I will now begin to call him "The Mayor" thanks to you. I may have to sketch him out.
What great pictures! I love how colorful they all are. Neat pictures of the pelicans and roosters. The pictures of Hannah and Strider are very sweet.
Sandy, I think the "Mayor" has the potential to be a very interesting character. Since he likes to travel and visit different areas, I wouldn't be surprised if he heads up to the mountains in So. Calif. just to see what it's like up there and how welcome chickens and roosters are. He is a curious fella, you know.
