Now that looks cold..almost freezing..surprised you went out in it. How cold was it???
it was not bad until the wind picked up right when we were at an area of the lake that was open - no trees and the wind chill got real cold. It was invigorating. I really don't like missing more than a day here and there walking so we will go out in it with the right gear on - gloves, etc. which we didn't have with us today. At one point I walked with just a long sleeve t shirt for most of the time.

Hi Betty - good to see you again. Looks like you've been so busy with family etc. Life certainly keeps us on our toes.
Meant to mention that I did not know that white pelicans would be in the lake so far away from the coast!! So now you have the backyard birds and sea birds to be on the lookout for. That means you must feel like you are in heaven!
What a beautiful place to walk! It looks very serene there. I like the pelican photos too.
