We always take duck food when we go to the lake. One day we saw this cute little guy and gave him the rest of the baggie of food. He enjoyed it a lot and as we walked away and then walked above where he was i kept taking pics and noticed how far into the water he went with his clothes on - to get closer to the ducks. He reminded me a lot of my grandson Holden and his baby brother who was in a stroller nearby with the gramma - looked like Holden as a baby.
It's been beautiful here in the mountains and so green. Today we have some fog, heavy breezes at times and a chance of rain - Big Bear might even get snow. We are getting down into the high 20' lower 30's for a few nights.
Quite a change from just a few days ago.
Finally was past where he was and I started to enjoy the other scenery around the lake and kept to the upper path so we could go through a few streets I like.
It has been so beautiful lately.

At first I thought that WAS Holden! We are in for a 90 percent of chance of rain tomorrow...hoping they're right. Also predictions of snow in the mountains north of us...hope they're right about that too. It looks so pretty at the lake right now!
Hope Mommy had a dry set of shorts, in her bag!!!! So cute. So like a boy!!!!
Oh wow, to be able to climb up that bank!!! Now that is a fantastic accomplishment, in my eyes!!!!!!!
Keep doing such. And you'll still be able to do it, when you are my "olden" age! :-)
Keeping my fingers crossed for u - i know you need it up there....it was one of those days - cold windy - cloudy/sunny...ditto ditto - i finally gave up and stayed in - it's one of those days you take a jacket and then the sun comes out and you're hot and then the cloud cover and the wind and you're cold. I've just been doing stuff around here.
hi Tessa - his gramma was there - so i'm sure she had some ..if not at least it was a warm day just a few days ago. We do a lot of hill climbing where we live - I expect and commit to do this when I'm in my 70, 80's and 90's -...absolutely will keep it up...
thanks for your visit.
Gosh, some great shots, Sandy.
Really magnificent scenery and he's a cute little guy!
It was 72 year today, loving it!
Lovely spot. It's funny how far out he went into the water.
your photos are so beautiful as your heart for ensuring the little alone boy had food, and company, that makes your photos even more awesome x
