and ...before we moved to these mountains I never knew what a dogwood tree looked like. Lately I've been enjoying them throughout the mountains and taking photos as I pass them. I particularly liked these I took at the lake the other day. The blue sky behind them made for a beautiful background.

Reminds me of some towel art at a Hotel we stayed at years ago. It was animals on the bed out of the towels.

Dogwood blossoms! So lovely... And their fragrance must be heavenly. Such blossom fragrance, makes Spring to be a way tooo short season.
