I was getting so spoiled - beautiful weather for the last 10 days or so - lots of walking, cleaning up the yard from winter and sleeping with my window open. Then another snow fall yesterday which is good and preceding that was 2" of rain over a few hours. We will be dry now until next weekend when we have another chance of rain. The snow will melt quickly as we are warming up again. How is your weather?
A year ago this month we were in Bend - I just talked to my daughter in law yesterday and they are moving into a beautiful house just across the street from where they live and still near the park. I can't wait to see them and hope that sometime during summer when we make our first trip up to Washington around Gig Harbor - we will then rent a car and drive to Bend for a few days. Next on the list after that - we will hope to make a trip to Montana to visit our son who is moving there soon (my grandson who is living with us will move with his dad to Montana).... at least visiting them before next winter.
Here are some Bend photos and then yesterday's photos of the snow - (I'm sure by now my snow pics are probably getting redundant as I look out the same windows during a storm and take the pics).
It's already warming up enough for a nice walk around the lake - probably shedding the jacket after we walk about half of the path.

oh my gosh.
so much wonderful news in this post.
and the pictures.
I can never get enough of them!
a blog I follow and love is 'the minimalists'
(you might know! LOLOL!)
they had a cabin in missoula montana ... where the university is.
it is so beautiful! I googled it to see what it's like there.
I can only imagine hunter is excited for the new adventure!
or maybe he's shy of it. with kids you just never know!
XOXO♥
Hunter is so excited - he can't wait - but he'll finish the school year here. Ah the minimalists - i'm getting to like those type of blogs...and of course yours for sure. I'll have to check out those missoula minimalists. Mine are moving near Great Falls. I've always wanted to visit Montana - i remember when I was younger - in my 40's i use to say if I won the lottery i'd like a ranch in Montana. That was also a dream of this son who is moving there - years ago he said he would love to move to Montana and lo and behold a job came up there for which he was accepted. Yes.. Hunt is definitely excited.
What lovely houses. Love the squirrel photo.
I always like seeing the photos you've taken in Bend...such a gorgeous area. Wondering if there are more bedrooms in the next house across the street from where they are now?
Of the snow photos, the last one is my favorite...it's that beautiful white background and the hanging things in front of it!
So much happening in for family's lives right now! I'm happy for the Bend family and the Montana connection!
I love the picture of the river. And you are so talented when it comes to taking great photos of houses. I'm sure it is not as easy as one may think.
thanks Winifred, Inger and Laura - ...and as u know laura because we talked - there are more bedrooms - it's a great house for them and for me when i visit.
Inger - thank you - but for me - i rarely focus - i carry my camera and as i walk by i just stick it out and shoot the photo.
I love the colorful photos. You have such a good eye for taking pictures. The one with the yellow trees is my favorite. Your trip sounds like fun! :)
