We were heading up to Running Springs yesterday when I finally had my camera ready and the lighting was perfect to get clearer pics of these two houses that I can't figure out how you get to them - I don't see a road anywhere. I need to go explore and figure this out.
While up in Running Springs we went to Ma and Paws to get some bird food and the parrots were out of their cages and talking up a storm. The three colorful parrots are the "B" names - Billy, Buckaroo and the new one is Bradley. Not sure who is who. Then there is Ashley who I always talk to when I go in and then Doodles is the African Gray eating a cob of corn. The one in the front of the three kept talking but the others were so loud I couldn't make out what he was saying - they were all talking at once.

Pretty birds! I know you enjoyed that!
About no visible road ... is there anywhere around there to park a car? I makes no sense that there isn't a way they can get close to the place.
i know there has to be a road but i don't know where. I'll have to do some sleuthing next time i'm in the area.
Those are great shots. Beautiful birds.
Beautiful and delightful photos!
beautiful!
and they look so intelligent. some almost posing... and
even questioning!
love their names.
the title of this post is wonderful. LOL
I'd like to live in a quieter, more secluded location, but I don't think I'd want to live where those two houses are where you can't even find a road to get to them. Ha! The parrots look cute and colorful. Sounds like they were a noisy bunch.
Oh those houses...and the mountains....so gorgeous! And the parrots - beautiful, beautiful photos, Sandy!
thanks everyone.
They are so sweet! During March break I took one of my granddaughters to visit the parrot sanctuary nearby. She loved it. She was able to feed them split grapes.
