Another mass murder event yesterday in San Bernardino - on Waterman.
Inland valley regional center is the place it happened.
The DMV -is at 1310 Waterman Ave - I'll be there tomorrow renewing my license.
Inland valley regional center - 1365 Waterman - ...Massacre happened.
Yesterday 14 people were killed and 18 injured - they say it was a disgruntled employee but also hinting at terrorist links. Who knows - it probably won't be known for a long time as their investigation continues.
He lived in Redlands - an area I love to go to. To think he lived there and was amassing an arsenal of bombs and guns to perhaps kill even more people. He and his wife went on this massacre together - they left their small baby at the grandmother's house in Redlands.
I have to go down there tomorrow in this same vicinity to renew my license. I couldn't feel safer - as there will be investigators and all kinds of security around this area.
Sadly though, a man that lives up here in Lake Arrowhead was one of the victims - he worked at this center and has six kids.
I find it so disgusting that these subhuman people can walk into a place and take so many lives because they have a cause of some type. I'm just sad today for the families of these 14 dead and 18 injured people - during this holiday season.

Sandy, yes, it was a very sad day indeed. I went to the University of Redlands for 2 years, our daughter went there for her Master's and our son -in-law is there now, getting his administrative degree. To think that such MONSTERS could live there...shudder...It was always such a quiet, little, peaceful town. To think they were gathering weapons and bombs...WHAT is the world coming to?
Cheryl Ann
it has almost become as normal as hearing the weather report.
the tragedy and utter WASTE of it all.
i have no problem if they want to blow themselves up somewhere where they can't hurt anyone else.
but to take innocent lives.
the news today is saying he was 'radicalized.'
i don't know. i'm like cheryl ann. what is this world coming to.
to go so soon on that street may be hard. even though necessary for you to get your license.
heart to yours. xo
Hi Cheryl. Monsters - good term. Monsters indeed. Happening all over - I saw a map recently of how many mass murders just went down in the last month.
What a nasty man and woman to terrorize so many innocent people. He had a good education and job and a wife and baby, and to hatch such evil plans. Be brave when you are there, as you said, it is safe there now.
Hi Tammy - you're right - almost as common as a weather report - I stopped watching news in the last month or so - ...just couldn't take hearing of anymore idiocy in the world. I'm just so sorry for these families. The daughter of the dad who was killed goes to the same school my grandson does. I can't imagine what they must be feeling today. On a happier note - someone started a fund for the family - they were asking for upwards of 100,000 to help this woman pay off her home and raise her kids (she is a stay at home mom) - they are already over that amount in just a day. Thank God for the kindness of people in this world.
THANK YOU for having the guts to post something!
And not just platitudes.
I just posted my 2nd post, in 2 days...
Asking a very simple question. Today.
Which everyone should have an answer to.
Yesterday 47 individuals came to my blog... Only 7 of them, commented. You among them!
Seems like people are really......... What? Scared? Confused? Shy? To state their opinion.
And this may be the most scary thing!!!! If we are cowed, into not saying what we think, than a hell of a lot of "excrementum has already hit the moving air device"!!!!!!
Tessa
Hi Tessa ...as I said in my reply today to you.....
............I now believe it was terrorism. I'm pissed that there are even more families that will be facing the future without their loved one because of two idiots. Taking guns away which is an agenda being pushed even stronger today isn't the answer... People kill and if they didn't 'have guns they would make bombs! People also protect others with guns. Guns don't have the ability to walk into a place and shoot up a multitude of people. Guns don't have a conscious awareness. Guns don't hold grudges. Guns are innocent. Guns don't worship some crazy ignorant idea of an Angry God. Guns are the victims - used in horrific crimes and then blamed. Some people are assholes and jerks.
Hi Terra - i think it will be very safe down there - My only fear is "ll have to wait in line (i am not a good line waiter.)..ha
I thought of you, Sandy, when I heard about the shootings. Such a horrible, sad thing to have happen. It is so scary and so frustrating that these thngs keep happening. These kinds of events make me feel so helpless. I'm so sorry to hear that one of the victims is from your area.
thanks Connie - the mountain communities are amazing - they have already now today raised over 200,000 for this man's family - his six kids. A lot of people were on edge that they would head up the 18 to the mountains - the shooters - but if they would have that wouldn't have been a smart move - not too many ways to get down once you've gotten up to Crestline - ... A lot of people as it turns out that i have read on the forums have known some that were involved, a few that died but mostly some that were injured. Several people have said they worked down there at the regional center. But in hindsight - the shooters were taken out so it didn't matter what way they drove away. It just blows my mind that we could have had terrorist activity so close to home. Just weird.
