I forgot that today M had to go down the hill for Jury Duty so I didn't go to the Village Grind with my laptop. He will be able to get out of it, if he brings a note from the therapist saying that he is my "caretaker" and has to drive me. I hope this works! We live quite far now, from the court house so the gas alone would cost quite a bit if he had to go down there every day for awhile.
I've been collecting pine cones from the yard and lining the deck railing with them hoping that the birds will land just right with a nice pose. I kind of liked this one.

First...when I saw this picture I said "now there's a painting waiting to happen"! It's framed just right!
It seems there would be a limit on how far one would have to drive for jury duty. Anyway, I'm sure his excuse will be good enough to get out of it for now. What you get for jury duty would never cover the cost of gas.
Also, I checked the maps for your area and you are having a light rain today!!!! I'm jealous!!! When we come I'd like to order a few days of light rain and clearing in between the rain falling during the day for walks...and I'd also like to order temps around 68, like you're having today. Did I mention I'm jealous?
