The last several days we have had some beautiful sunsets. The first three were on Saturday night - and the next were yesterday at about 4:00 - not quite sunset but the skies were interesting due to the smog down in the valley.
Driving up at the rim yesterday we saw some pretty interesting skies.
Will be down the hill in awhile so I'm hoping for more beautiful skies later in the day coming home.

Very nice shots! Sometimes the smog LOOKS pretty! Can you see Catalina Island? My aunt, who used to live in Arcadia, could sometimes see it from their house.

HI Cheryl - yes on certain days we can see the ocean - and saddleback mountain range - i think catalina also. We were down the hill yesterday and the haze was heavy. i could smell and taste it - not use to that anymore since we're higher up.
