This is one of my favorite areas to walk in - ....Upland, California - along the Pacific Electric Trail - .This is a trail that runs through several areas from I believe as far as Claremont, California and the east to Etiwanda area (maybe further)...probably about a 10 mile stretch. We have walked several miles on it before. One of the areas you pass through is an older neighborhood with a variety of houses - from Victorians to bungalows.
This cat is the proud owner of this cute house with an enclosed porch. I am assuming the pink teddy bear is his and when he is not guarding his house he plays with the bear. He's so cute he deserves many photos.
Our most recent walk through here was a few months back and now the house has been painted grey and I believe the door was blue. I have pics but it's not important enough to go find them. I prefer the color that is on the house in these photos.
I came across a really cute video recently and enjoyed it - you may have seen it before but if not i think you'll find it cute.

When I saw the first photo I really thought you were putting up one from a SLO neighborhood..it looks just like one I pass quite often. I recall walking with you guys on that trail for a little bit but it was so hot at that time! But I remember those cool houses.
What if animals were round...hahahaha...loved watching that!
You're right we did walk on it - and it was a hot day sort of. We were on this trail several months ago and I need to find pics of it.
That is a pretty cat. Looks like he (or she) is guarding the door. I like the house too. Cute video--haha!
