I like it purple best! Seeing these chickens and knowing how you love to happen upon chickens reminds me that the Arroyo Grande chickens were out in force recently on a Saturday when we were there for the farmers' market and they were making a very big racket and struttin' their stuff!
I can't believe those chickens. My dad taught me a little "diddy" years ago about a Domenecker....(I didn't know at the time it was a black and white striped chicken. The "diddy" One Zip, Two Zip, Little Zicky Zan, a bob tailed domenecker , tee, two, tan." It doesn't make sense, but I learned it at age 6 and have never forgotten it!!!
They are so cute! I wonder what happened to them?
xo,
rue
thanks u three - love the poem your dad taught you Wanda.
May be off the computer for awhile - i'm working with my broken down one - as my newer one actually died today - never buy an ASUS - i thought it was good .
sorry to my sister and my grandson who i recommended ASUS to - they are a piece of crap (pardon my language)...the old one i'm working on heats up quickly - so i may not be blogging much for awhile.
That purple color really makes that house stand out. Nice looking chickens.
