BEAUTIFUL HOUSE IN RIVERSIDE, CA- FRONT PORCH AND BABY KITTIES

Same house in two seasons.  We use to go over to this area to hike Mt. Rubidoux - a good hike or rather walk  with a cross at the top of  a plateau..    I hope to post photos of it possibly in the next post.

Also putting a couple of photos up of some feral kitties that the mom (who we had put food out for several months and she has already had 2 litters in this time) felt it was safe enough to bring them to our back deck.  The mom is extremely skittish and if we get too close she runs - We really want to catch her and get her fixed and then put her back out to be wild.  If we can't get to her she is going to keep having litters.   Eventually we will at least try to get the two kittens in and get them fixed.  I don't plan on possessing them and bringing them inside - they can roam as they want but I will put food out for them.

Beautiful homes, and my heart melted when I saw your kitty photos! Your header is gorgeous, too. The cat in your last photo looks very much like my 2 year old male cat, Romeo. He is black and white with markings very similar to this cat, and sometimes I call him 'Diamondhead' because of the diamond like white shape on his head. :)

Oh how good of you!!! To be willing to have these cats neutered. And let them roam free, after. I hope you are able to do so.

Once upon a time, a couple of neighborhood gals and I, tried to do this. With a pretty large litter. Oh sigh.... What a time we had.

Good luck with your "trapping them"... Because that's what has to be done. A humane trap. You can't handle them. Let the vet do that.

Hugs and magic,
Tessa

hi Daisy - i remember last fall you posted a few pics around your area or on your street of the leaves - are they already turning or have they "turned" now...

I kind of doubt we will ever be able to catch the mama or trap her - she is SO extremely wary of us. She is not as bad as she was but still wants to be wild and free - and she's teaching her babies really good survival skills - so i guess other than feeding them it will be impossible to fix them.

Hi Linda - the mom's first litter - i only saw one kitten and he looked exactly like her but had black and white, not grey and white markings. Same colors eyes.

well as long as i can photograph them you will see photos of them and in awhile you'll wonder why I am posting all these kitten photos. ha
