But I have read a lot of other books on people who were either near death or had died and were revived.
I just saw this recent video so thought I would post it here.
I just want to add that we are all so fortunate to live in a time when the mind/body connection has become known - that our emotions and fears can be found to be a source of our distress.
I remember when my mom had cancer and I had just discovered Louise Hay (Hay House) and her wonderful teachings on the connection that our thoughts and fears have on our body. My mom wouldn't listen to it and thought it was all a crock of well..nonsense. This was in 1984. During that time Deepak Chopra's teachings were making the circuit along with Wayne Dyer and so many others.
These teachings work - along with the excellent medical care which i had in the hospital.

I'm a little bit like your Mum but I have to say that lady is very convincing & her story is amazing. I think you do have to keep an open mind about things.
I did read her book and it was SO interesting to read. I've also seen her interviewed, and I don't doubt she is speaking Truth!
I do believe the mind has a great deal to do with how the body reacts. Your saying choose peace is a perfect example.
