In Northwest Crossing where we go to visit Mackenzie and Jake up in Oregon around Bend, they have the most awesome houses (many different styles) which surround and encircle Compass Park - there are walkways between the various houses which spoke out from the park and one main street that goes in a circle around the whole park (kind of hard to describe).
The photo I chose today show a different angle of a few front porches. I will mostly do front porches that you can see what is on them but I have so many photos from Bend with different angles I want to get some of those posted.
All the people that have come to the mountain for the holiday weekend have pretty much left town and it is so quiet and nice and cool - a breeze is coming in the window right now.
The lake will be deserted (hip hip hurray) and the cooler temps will make for great walking this week.
Off to finish making my chicken flautas for dinner.

Beautiful photos!
Northwest crossing is a beautiful planned area - but the great thing about it (this is where my son lives with his family) is to get to spend time there and find out that everyone in this community looks out for the kids - there is a small little local town across from the park where people can eat at various restaurants and walk home and it's truly a paradise in a crazy world. I'll be posting a lot of porches from this area.
yes, sometimes I actually cook - but most of the time I don't but my husband makes good food.
thanks - i love the flowers in it.
thanks Cheryl. Just now choosing which porch to post next.
What a neat-looking area. Nice photo!
